Dr. Jane Bentz
Dr. Jane A. Bentz grew up in La Crosse and attended the University of Wisconsin La Crosse for her undergraduate courses. She then attended Marquette University School of Dentistry, earning her DDS degree in 1977. Dr. Bentz went on the complete a post-graduate program in orthodontics at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, receiving a Certificate of Specialty in Orthodontics in 1979.
To keep in touch with her peers and to stay abreast of the latest advancements in orthodontics, Dr. Bentz is a member of the following professional organizations:
- Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Fraternity
- American Dental Association
- Wisconsin Dental Association
- La Crosse District Dental Society, past president
- American Association of Orthodontists
- Midwest Society of Orthodontists
- Pierre Fauchard Academy, an International Honor Dental Organization
- International College of Dentists
She is also a Diplomate in the American Board of Orthodontics and is a former president of the Wisconsin Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Bentz volunteers with two charitable organizations, Give Kids a Smile and Smiles Change Lives, to give back to her community.
Dr. Bentz resides in La Crosse with her husband, Dr. Dave Matelski. She has three daughters; Lauren, Molly, and Anne. In her spare time, Dr. Bentz enjoys playing tennis, golf and cards, skiing and scuba diving.
